Yanillys Pérez is an Actress, Director, Writer and Producer.

 

As an actress in 2011 she was part of the Golden Globe winner film "Carlos » by Olivier Assayas. Selected in Cannes 2010.

Her first feature film “Jeffrey”, had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016, where she won the “Discovery Filmmaker award”.

 

Her previous short films have received several international and national awards and have been shown in various international film festivals. 

 

In 2016, she is part of the six directors selected for « Project Involve 2016 » at Film Independent in Los Angeles, USA.

 

At present, Pérez is preparing her first narrative feature film as director “Candy Town” selected at l’Atelier  Cannes Cinefondation 2017.
